The Evansville IceMen

The Evansville IceMen organization's most important role is not that of hockey franchise or big-time business. The organization's most important role is actually found in the community. When the game is over, what happened on the ice stays on the ice. We are not hockey players and staffers 24/7, but we ARE always members of the local community. The IceMen can only be successful if Evansville is a vibrant, healthy, safe place to live and work - and the organization is fully committed to doing its part to ensure just that.

Through donations and/or volunteering, the IceMen have made contributions to a number of organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, the Tri-State Food Bank, 911 Gives Hope, the American Cancer Society, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and a variety of military and veterans groups.

Our players, Blizzard and the Icicles also make countless school visits and work closely with the Evansville Youth Hockey Association and Harwood Middle School's hockey club, all in an effort to keep our city's children active and on the right path in life.

Home game promotions are often built around helping those who live both across the street and across town, as well as those who serve our country overseas. Our Military Appreciation Night and "Teddy Bear Toss" are just a couple of examples.
