The ultimate perennial All-Star center, ROBINSON, 34, will be approaching his 14th pro season and his second under the IceMen banner in the Tri-State region. Widely-recognized and acknowledged as the biggest star in the city’s pro hockey history, the silk, satin, savvy centerman has been a proficient, prolific, prodigious point-producing pivot of an unparalleled, unprecedented constellation throughout the entire minor pro hockey nation, having percolated more scoring points than any other player in all of pro hockey during the span of his first 13-pro seasons.

The 5-8, 175lb right-hand shooting artisan has amassed an astronomical 1,226-points in 871-career games, averaging an amazing 1.41 points per game. Included in his total numbers are 334-goals and 892-assists as he has averaged over an assist a game as well in his extraordinary career.

In 2011-12, his initial campaign with the Evansville club, the Western Canadian- bred from Trail, B.C. was, again, of the elite status of point-scoring majesty, capturing his fifth league scoring crown and his first-ever in the CHL. Playing in all 66-games, Robinson authored 92-points on 23-goals and a league-best 69-assists with his 30-PPA also pacing the loop. In claiming his fourth league scoring title over the past six years, he essayed 10-more overall assists and 8-more PPA than the rest of the entire league. Finishing a very close second in the CHL/MVP balloting, “T. Rob” was named to the league’s First All-Star Team, appearing in the CHL All-Star Game 1/11/12 in Arizona.

The Evansville standout’s litany of achievements in ’11-12 is lustrous. In the CHL’s annual “Best of the Best Poll,” he captured the #1 honors for “Best Overall Player,” “Best Playmaker,” and “Best on the Power Play.” He was #2 for “MVP to his Team,” Face-offs, Stickhandler and Team Leader. The IceMen Team Captain finished #2 as well in the league’s annual “Three Stars” leaders. Three times, he was acclaimed CHL Player of the Week, marking the first time in six years that an individual player had captured the coveted award on a trio of occasions. In November 2011, he was saluted as the CHL’s
#2 Star and in February 2012, he earned #3 Star plaudits.

“Tape-to-Tape Todd” also assembled the longest point streak in the circuit, composed of 17-games; 17(11-17-28) from 2/3/12 to 3/3/12. Moreover, he added a 10-game streak as well; 10(3-15-18) from 12/23/11 to 1/17/12. The consummate playmaker extraordinaire, engineered assist streaks of 11 and 9-games respectively.

As the IceMen Team MVP last season, Robinson is looking forward to his first-ever season in the ECHL. “I am very excited about the upcoming season and, with it, the new challenges of being in the ECHL. There will be a lot of new, fresh faces that make one can’t wait for the start of training camp. We certainly want to build-off the successes that we achieved from last year’s regular season and at the same time be able to push those successes through right into the playoffs.”

Within the IceMen team itself in ’11-12, the “Robinsonian” touch was of Midas magnitude. His 9-PPG, 23-multiple point games and 4/7 OTSO scoring proficiency all topped the team while his 4-GWG and 3-SHG ranked runner-up best. His five game goal streak; 5(5-5-10) equaled the best on the club from 2/17/12 to 2/26/12. He also orchestrated a 4-game streak; 4(4-6-10) from 2/7/12 to 2/14/12. Robinson maestroed a masterful 5-point masterpiece (1-4-5) in a 7-5 IceMen triumph 11/25/11 at Rapid City, collecting as well three 4-point performances and seven 3-point game outputs. Three more times he registered 4-assists in a single game. His durability was uncompromised as well as he was one of only three IceMen players to see action in all 66-games last season.

Robinson has actually captured his respective league’s scoring crown in three of the last four seasons, finishing #2 in CHL scoring in 2010-11in his lone season in Odessa; 62(29-70-99).

Through his entire pro career, he has been named to nine All-Star teams and during his 10-year premiere career in Muskegon, he claimed five team scoring crowns and was a three-time league MVP. His best season came in 2006-07 when he registered a Muskegon all-time club record and pro career best 123-points on a career-high 44-goals along with 79-assists. The famous #19 was a member of Muskegon’s last three title timber teams in 2001-02; 2003-04 and 2004-05.

With all of his enormous accomplishments of the regular season, “T. Rob” seemingly has been even better than that in the playoffs post season where he has been awesome and then-some. Three times he has been the overall league playoff scoring king in 2001-02, 2004-05 and 2008-09. In 2001-02, he also captured the UHL Playoffs MVP award when he scored the dramatic, gigantic GWG at 4:16 of OT in Game #6 of the Finals against Elmira on an electrifying breakaway flight to capture the crown for the Muskegon Fury.

His career playoff numbers also rate as numbers for the ages in the context of minor pro hockey grandeur. In 123-career playoff games; 37-goals; 117-assists; 154-points for a per game average of a gaudy 1.25.
