The IceMen continue to bulk up the roster for the upcoming season with the signings of two goaltenders, one of which is a familiar face to team's fans.

In a press release issued by the team on Wednesday, the team announced they have agreed on terms with Garrett Bartus and Chris Rawlings, the first of which spent time with the IceMen last season, playing in 24 games for the organization.

The 24-year-old St. Charles, Illinois native posted a record of 8 wins, 9 losses, 3 overtime losses, and 3 shootout losses, as well as a 3.30 goals against average and a 90.2 save percentage during his time with IceMen last season. This will be his second professional season following four years of college hockey at the University of Connecticut and four years playing junior hockey in the North American Hockey League in Youngstown, Ohio and in St. Louis.

The 25-year-old Rawlings comes to Evansville after spending time in the American Hockey League, Central Hockey League, and ECHL last year appearing in 5 games in the AHL with the Portland Pirates where he posted a 3.82 goals against average and an 88.1 save percentage. He played in 12 games for the Arizona Sundogs of the CHL, averaging 4.12 goals against and an 85.7 save percentage. He also spent six games with the Gwinnett Gladiators, ending his run there with a 3.68 goals against average and a save percentage of 87.9. This season will be Chris’ third professional year having played briefly for Portland in the AHL and Idaho in the ECHL during the the 2012-13 season following four years of college hockey at Northeastern University in Hockey East and four years of junior hockey in the British Columbia Hockey League.
