EPD Bomb Squad Called to Home Depot for Suspicious Package

UPDATE: The Bomb Squad has determined the package to not be hazardous and the area is now open once more.

The Evansville Police Department's Bomb Squad is on the scene at Home Depot on Burkhardt Road for what has been deemed by authorities as a suspicious package. The EPD is utilizing their robot to investigate the package.

Due to the nature of the investigation they are also blocking off a portion of the parking lot and asking people to avoid the area.
