He left Live a few years ago and embarked on a solo career, and now Ed Kowalczyk is revisiting his roots with the 'Throwing Copper Unplugged -- 20th Anniversary Tour.' Check out the dates below for the first leg of the trek that launches Feb. 4 in Natick, Mass.

Kowalczyk will perform an acoustic set to commemorate two decades since the album's release. "I'm so excited to celebrate the 20th anniversary of 'Throwing Copper' in this new unplugged production," he says. "Fans can expect to see and hear me like never before!"

'Throwing Copper' was Live's most successful album, going 8 times platinum in the U.S. and spawning the No. 1 alternative singles 'Lightning Crashes' and 'Selling the Drama' along with the top 10 hits 'I Alone' and 'All Over You.'

Since his departure from Live, Kowalczyk has released three albums. The latest one, 'The Flood and the Mercy,' hit stores in October of 2013. Before the anniversary shows, Kowalczyk will be playing some November dates in Australia on the 'I Alone Acoustic' tour. For all his tour dates, go here.

Kowalczyk's former band, Live, are also back in action this fall. They will be releasing 'The Turn' on Oct. 28. It's their first album with new vocalist Chris Shinn.
