Drunk Straps 4-Kids to Hood For A Beer Run
You cannot even begin to make this stuff up. A Fort Wayne man was thrown in jail after strapping four kids to the hood of his vehicle, while making a run to the liquor store.
A few witnesses contacted the police department after they saw a man and woman strapping four kids, to a vehicle, with a tow strap. The man said he believe the children (ages 4,5,6, and 7) would enjoy it. He is the father of three of the children, the woman involved was mother to one of them.
The names of the man and woman are being withheld to protect the kids' identities, and their relationship to one another is unknown. A US marshal stopped the car after overhearing the police radio broadcast.
The man had a blood alcohol content of .17, twice Indiana's legal limit. The woman was arrested for neglect.
