Do Some Drivers Actually Swerve To Hit Animals? Yeah, Some Do.

YouTube

Call it a weird experiment in the sadistic nature of drivers, but apparently there are some people who swerve to hit animals on the road. So just how many people have some ‘Dexter‘-like activity when they drive?

One YouTube user,  (think Dr. Evil), did a weird study using rubber animals. Sitting by a roadside he place the fake animals on the shoulder of the roadway. After studying 1000 vehicles, he noticed that 6% of the people driving intentionally ran in to the toys.

He used a rubber spider, snake, and turtle. There was also a maple leaf used. Check out the video of the study below.

What would you swerve for? I gotta go for the snake. I just don’t like them.
