Deaconess Presents the 2013 GLVC Championship Tournament This Weekend!
Deaconess Health System, a tri-state community health care provider, has been named the title sponsor of the 2013 Deaconess GLVC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championship Tournaments, which will be held March 7-10 at The Ford Center.
Eight teams from the Great Lakes Valley Conference, including USI and Kentucky Wesleyan will make their way to The Ford Center this Thursday for the Deaconess Hospital GLVC Men's and Women's Basketball Tournament. But who plays who, and when do they play?
Thursday's action inside The Ford Center is actually the quarterfinals of the tournament. The opening rounds took place last week at various GLVC school campus'. The opening game of the men's tourney between #4 Maryville and #5 Bellarmine tips off at noon on Thursday, and the women's action begins Friday at noon with #4 Quincy taking on #5 University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
