After the party is over Saturday night, don't forget to set your clocks ahead one hour before going to bed, as Daylight Savings Time will begin at 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning.

I don't know about you, but I couldn't be more excited to see the sun in the sky past 7:00 p.m. again. This dark-at-5-o'clock-nonsense is for the birds. "FOR THE BIRDS" I say!

(See, the struggle is real.)

Fortunately, technology does the work for us in most cases. Smartphones usually update on their own, however a quick restart of your phone when you wake up Sunday morning probably wouldn't be a bad idea just to be on the safe side.

However, alarm clocks, microwave, and stove clocks will require your assistance like the elderly trying to figure out an iPhone.

It's also a good time to check / replace the batteries in your smoke detectors, assuming you have them (if not, uh...WTF? Go get one!).
