You can save gift bags and re-use those every year, so why not do the same with your cards?

I'm not talking about crossing out whatever the person wrote to you in the card and writing something else in it and trying to pass it off as yours, like "Yes. I saw this and thought of you. No, ignore those scribbles. I just messed up the first time. What? What do you mean this is the card you gave me last year?"

I'm talking about re-using them for purposes other than being a Christmas card again.

1. Tags.

Those cards have pretty Christmas pictures on them. If you cut them out just right, you can make them into Christmas tags for next year.

All you need are scissors, a hole puncher, and some string and you're a certified Christmas tag DIY-er.

2. This dude used it as a name tag. To each his own.

3. Hilariously make it your own card. I've been doing this for years, but with other cards. Like, do you know how hard it is to find a house warming card? I gave up about 3 stores and just bought a "Congratulations It's a girl!" card and just crossed out "girl" and wrote "house". Problem solved. You can do the same with Christmas cards. Just cross out some stuff, write your own stuff in there. Bada-Bing-Bada-Boom, custom card.

Do you have any useful ways to re-use cards?
