Chevelle, you had me at 'The Red'. But left me hanging with 'Jars'. You're like that hot chick at the bar, who accepts your drinks but never comes over to talk. Why, Chevelle? I thought we had something here.

However, Chevelle is ready to redeem itself. To follow up 2009's Sci-Fi Crimes, Chevelle will be releasing their new album in December. And here I am, thinking they'll never call again.

According to the band's Facebook page, 'Face To The Floor' will be the first single off the new album. It is expected to be released on October 10th. That's only a couple weeks away. Are ya giddy yet?

Well just hold on, because the yet-to-be-named album will be released on December 6th. Its been a long three years since Sci-Fi Crimes, and the band is ready to play some new stuff on tour. Right now, they are currently on the road with Filter and Bush (booking agents at Ford Center, are you listening?). That tour wraps on October 28th.

The band will also contribute to the soundtrack for Underworld: Awakening, cause that's a film franchise that needs another sequel. Oh well, I'm ready to rock out to some new Chevelle. I hope you are too!
