In a sea of fabricated pop groups and auto-tuned garbage, the Foo Fighters will be representin' at the 2012 Grammy Awards to illustrate to the youth of America what talent looks like. The band is up for a number of potential trophies including Album of the Year at the 54th annual Grammy Awards.
With the release of the latest Nickelback album, and that Metallica/Lou Reed disaster, it seems that 2011 couldn't end on a lower note when it comes to entertainment. Now confessed joke thief, Carlos Mencia, is getting another special on Comedy Central.
The sound of you salivating is all the thanks I need. I think that's the sound of saliva anyway.
Set the DVR as the ladies from the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show are here to keep you cozy on a blustery, cold, wet Tristate November night. At least you can pretend that is their intention. I know that's what I will be doing while enjoying a bucket of chicken and...um...enjoying the show in a oh so special way. Don't judge me.
Can you believe it's been 6 years since Fear Factor was on the air? Well, the Factor is back! The show returns to Monday nights at 7pm on NBC beginning December 12th. The show's host (and UFC commentator) Joe Rogan is back too, and says the new show is "bigger, better and crazier".
'SNL' was hosted this weekend by Charile Day of 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' fame. I saw some of it and it was pretty entertaining. I did miss this...however, the internet comes to my rescue again!
Conan was back in New York for a week's worth of shows and he busted out some of his best characters from his 'Late Night' days. Any episode that features 'Triumph the Insult Comic Dog' is always going to make me tune in. Triumph was sic'd on the Occupy Wall Street folks and the comedy ensues.
In case you haven't heard, Moammar Gadhafi is all dead and stuff. He wasn't a real swell guy, pretty much an understatement. And just like the prophecy said...a really bad sitcom from the 80's will foretell the death of the Libyan dictator. I think that was part of what was taught to us in 4th grade.
Christopher Walken has to be one of the most impersonated celebrities right? Everybody's a got Walken impression. Some good...most not so good. Well, the comedy troupe POYKPAC have done a pretty fine job with their parody video 'The Walken Dead'.
Digging through the dreck that is Bravo! programming, you find the uber successful 'Real Housewives of...' franchise. It's "reality" tv of a bunch of spoiled chicks with no real world perspective arguing over things that are in no way important.
And it gets great ratings. Well, apparently there is a new version on the horizon.
