In a series of Facebook posts that went up today (May 20), System of a Down bassist Shavo Odadjian opened a huge can of worms in a very public way. According to a number of posts on Odadjian's official fan page -- on which the bassist does post regularly -- he accuses System vocalist Serj Tankian of holding the band back.
Most assumed that the Rolling Stones' '50 and Counting' tour moniker was a reference to their 50 years in music, but it might eventually double as a status for the amount of special guests during their current run. The latest to join in the Rolling Stones fun was Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, who hopped onstage to play guitar and sing during the band's Anaheim, Calif. stop Saturday night (May 18). Recently the three remaining members of Stone Temple Pilots raised a few eyebrows when it was revealed they would be performing at the annual MusiCares MAP Fund benefit. Given that they split with frontman Scott Weiland earlier in the year, there were plenty of questions about who would sing for the band, but those questions were answered Saturday night (May 18) in Irvine, Calif. as Linkin Park's Chester Bennington joined the band onstage at the 2013 KROQ Weenie Roast. The group also took the opportunity to debut a new track called 'Out of Time.'
