Doctor Strange Starts From The Bottom In ‘Doctor Strange’ #12 [Preview]

Writer Jason Aaron and artist Chris Bachalo are still going strong on Doctor Strange. The 12th issue starts a new storyline called "Blood in the Aether." It features a powerless Stephen Strange, weakened by the events of "The Last Days of Magic," forced to deal with all of his greatest enemies who've decided, for obvious reasons, that this is the perfect time to come after him.

The preview features Strange hiding out in what looks like a mystical Tiki Bar, which is then attacked by something terrifying, which he must fend off with just a glowing green sword.

Do Earth Girls Have It Easy? ‘Shade, The Changing Girl’ #1 [Preview]

Shade the Changing Girl is a sight to behold. From the creative team of writer Cecil Castelluci, line artist Marley Zarcone, and color artist Kelly Fitzpatrick, the title is part of DC's Young Animal line, overseen by Gerard Way. Though it spins out of the classic Peter Milligan Vertigo series Shade the Changing Man, and protagonist Lorna is an admirer of the earlier Shade, this series looks set to stand on its own, judging from this first look.

Consumerism Hits Bedrock In ‘The Flintstones’ #2 [Preview]

Of all the titles coming out of DC's current Hanna-Barbera line, I don't think that any of us really expected that The Flintstones would be the most unexpectedly mystifying. If you missed the first issue, it took television's stone-age Honeymooners and turned it into a satire that got unexpectedly dark, casting Bedrock as an amoral prototype for all of our modern failings and conflicts.

And in the second issue, they're going shopping.

Diana Meets Steve As ‘Year One’ Continues In ‘Wonder Woman’ #4 [Exclusive Preview]

The Year One storyline in Wonder Woman is, at least to me, the most exciting part of Greg Rucka's return to the character. Sure, her origin has been told many times --- in fact Renae De Liz and Grant Morrison have both rewritten it just in the past year. But this take is important for two reasons: First, even though he's had a previous run on the book and is beloved by most Wonder Woman fans, this is the first time Greg Rucka has covered this ground. And secondly, this comes at a time when the ground needs to be covered. Check out an exclusive preview of issue #4!

Steed And Peel Hit Gotham City In ‘Batman ’66 Meets Steed And Mrs. Peel’ Chapter 2 [Preview]

Now that I've rewatched the entire series as an adult, I have a very hard time picking out my single favorite story arc from Batman '66. When I was a kid, though, there was no question: It had to be the three-part story where Batman and Robin sailed across the Atlantic to far-off Londinium to battle foggy crimes in merry old England. If nothing else, I think that it appealed to my childhood sense that our country's greatest export was costumed crime-fighting.

Now, though, it's time for England to repay the favor by sending their own dynamic duo to the fair shores of Gotham City --- and that's exactly what's happening in Batman '66 Meets Steed and Mrs. Peel, the '60s TV crossover that pretty much had to happen. Check out a preview of the book's second chapter!

Tommy’s Dreams Get Really, Really Weird In ‘Power Rangers’ #3 [Preview]

Power Rangers is pretty much perfect as it already is, but if there was one single flaw in the entire franchise, I think we can all agree that it would be the fact that the show is very rarely a deep psychological drama. I mean, there's that one episode of Ninja Storm where we see the Red Ranger huddling naked in a room full of eyes as part of a dream sequence, and there are Dr. K's flashbacks in RPM, but other than that, you never really get to see the harrowing effects of being brainwashed by a Moon Witch.

Vote Hiram Lodge For Mayor In Waid & Fish’s ‘Archie’ #8

Good ol’ Archie Andrews can’t seem to catch a break, having recently been discharged from hospital with a concussion courtesy of his ex-girlfriend Betty Cooper’s errant homerun baseball while sneaky Reggie Mantle tries to worm his way into the life of his current girlfriend, Veronica Lodge.

How could things get worse for Archie, you ask? How about if Veronica’s father, a man who has no shortage of contempt for our hero, ran for Mayor of Riverdale? We’ve got a preview of Archie #8 by Mark Waid, Veronica Fish, Andre Szymanowicz, Jen Vaughn & Jack Morelli, to give you a sneak peek at the Lodge campaign.
