Personally, I thought the last album from Linkin Park blew. "A Thousand Suns" was anything but furious as the band's previous albums had been. It reminded me more of New Age music than Rock. I guess I have a little bitterness remaining from the time the band cancelled a concert in Evansville after a hard night of partying in our city

April 5, 2012 Both Theory of a Deadman and Pop Evil should be pretty familiar to Tri-Stater's. They have both played here before and both put on a great live show. We've been lucky enough to have Pop Evil in the studio a couple of times, and they're some of the coolest dudes you'll ever meet.

One of 103GBF's favorite bands, Halestorm, is part of the first 103GBF Damn Loud Rock Show at the Ford Center on May 6th, along with headliners Staind and Godsmack.
Halestorm is a favorite of ours because we've had them in the GBF studio twice in the past and they are completely awesome to work with and are just good all around folk.
I don't know how John Anderson of ESPN fits into all of this but he had the honor of unveiling the lineup for this year's festival. Bonnaroo is sprawling event with at least 125 bands (not counting the people playing the bongos in the crowd) and 20 comedians performing on a total of 13 stages.
