This summer's Monster Energy Rock Allegiance Tour, featuring the international lineup of Volbeat, HIM, All That Remains and Airbourne, has unveiled several more dates of its itinerary. The trek now spans from Aug. 23 through Sept. 28.
Black Sabbath vocalist Ozzy Osbourne dropped by the L.A. Gay and Lesbian Center's 'An Evening with Women' cancer fundraiser on May 18. Hosted by comedienne Kathy Griffin, musicians Natasha Bedingfield and Sia performed at the function, but the highlight of the night was Ozzy himself, who performed a short set consisting of both Black Sabbath and solo hits.
Most assumed that the Rolling Stones' '50 and Counting' tour moniker was a reference to their 50 years in music, but it might eventually double as a status for the amount of special guests during their current run. The latest to join in the Rolling Stones fun was Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, who hopped onstage to play guitar and sing during the band's Anaheim, Calif. stop Saturday night (May 18). Fan-shot footage can be seen above.
Last night (May 15), Brian 'Head' Welch returned to the stage with Korn to perform his first full set with the band since leaving the multiplatinum act in 2005. A packed crowd in Belle Vernon, Pa., were the lucky bunch to witness Welch's return, and we've got all the details from the gig for you to sink your teeth into.
Motorhead, Rancid and AFI are among the top acts playing as part of the 2013 Riot Fest at Chicago's Humboldt Park Sept. 13-15. The first wave of performers has just been revealed with Fall Out Boy and Blink-182 headlining the music weekend, along with the third mystery band.
As the festival announcements continue to roll out, Los Angeles' Sunset Strip Music Festival has a big name headlining this year's festivities. Linkin Park will top this year's bill, following in the footsteps of the Doors, Motley Crue, Slash and Ozzy Osbourne.
Metallica's second Orion Music + More Festival is creeping up on us as summer draws near. To get fans pumped for the diverse fest, Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett has revealed a mass of details about the 'Kirk's Crypt' exhibit, which will include meet + greets, Hammett's massive collection of vintage horror film posters and more.
