How did "Fido" be come a stereotypical way to refer to a dog?  That's a great trivia question for you to google.  That leads into what kind of fun Fido can have at the 4th annual 'Canine Carnival and Mardi Paws' event, starting at high noon this Saturday at Bosse Field.  Just a few of the many things going on include;

Entry is open to the public. It's is $5 for adults and $1 for children 12 and under. All proceeds benefit the homeless dogs of It Takes A Village!
Since their is a beer graden, the good folks at Unity Taxi will be providing FREE taxi rides home within the city limits from 4-9 p.m.!  Fido gets to ride free also.
