Call of Duty: Ghosts Trailer: DLC Trades out Dogs for Aliens

In just a few days, Onslaught, the first downloadable content map pack for Call of Duty: Ghosts will be released, and with Onslaught, comes Nightfall. Infinity Ward has just released a new trailer about the first story-based episode of Call of Duty: Ghosts' Extinction mode.

The video tells the backstory of the monsters featured in Extinction mode and how they came about, hinting that the aliens you previously encountered were just the beginning. Apparently, alien samples were sent to a research lab in Alaska, and those samples woke up, multiplied and are on a rampage. All the drones, perks and various unlocked weapons you have accumulated throughout Ghosts aren't going to be enough to combat these alien forces. That's why Infinity Ward has included some new alien weaponry for you to use in order to fight back, and based on the size of some of these aliens, you're going to need it.

The Onslaught map pack, featuring Extinction mode's Chapter 1: Nightfall DLC, will be available to download on Jan. 28 exclusively for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Onslaught will be available for other platforms at a later date. It will also be included as a part of the Season Pass for Call of Duty: Ghosts.
