Butterbean is fightin’ crime and his waistline

Butterbean. A nice, hefty slice of 90's nostalgia. In case you aren't familiar with the man and his body...of work (derp!), let's review.

Eric Scott Esch (born August 3, 1966) is an American heavyweight boxer, kickboxer and mixed martial artist commonly referred to as Butterbean.[2]

He is the former IBA Super-Heavyweight Champion and also held the WAA Heavyweight title.[3] Esch's round body, bald head and vicious scowl make him a menacing (yet highly entertaining) fight figure, along with the American flag trunks he often sports. His combined professional fight record currently stands at 95 wins with 65 knockouts, 19 losses and 5 draws. Butterbean currently resides in Jasper, Alabama where he owns a restaurant, Mr Bean BBQ.[4]

He was top of the pop culture mind during the mid to late 90's...which of course qualifies him to have his own reality tv show in 2011.  Coming to Investigation Discovery (good luck finding that channel) in August will be good ol' Butterbean fightin' crime and trying not to have a heart attack in the process.

Here is what I remember Butterbean most for...legitimately knocking out Bart Gunn at Wrestlemania 15.
