BSR and Classic Cars Rock Franklin Street 8pm to Midnight on June 8
Seems like there's lots of partying on West Franklin Street, and I'm not just talking about the Fall Festival either.
Coming up the evening of Saturday June 8th, The Riverbend Association along with the West Side Nut Club is hosting a car show, with live music from BSR.
If you don't know BSR, then you just ain't been around, as someone once said. Fronted by Hometown Musician Kevin Book on bass an vocals the band mixes their own material with classic and new rock covers.
As far as the Car Show goes...The annual West Side Nut Club Cruise-In takes place in June. This years event takes place on West Franklin Street from 3PM to 9PM on Saturday June 8th, 2013. St Joe Ave. to Wabash Ave. will be closed off for cruise-in participants. All makes and models are welcome (cars, trucks, & bikes). There will also be door prizes and a half pot drawing (8:00PM). Registration is from 3PM to 6PM. The first 200 registrants will receive dash plaques.
