Bobby G’s Trailer Park – ‘Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters’ [Video]

Yep, it's a movie based on the childhood story of Hansel and Gretel...and no, it is NOT a kid's movie. Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters is (trying to be) a grown-up action flick, starring the least famous Avenger, Jeremy Renner.

The movie is obviously centered around Hansel and Gretel, the brother and sister who were kidnapped by a witch when they were younger. Well this story picks up later on in life, when Hansel and Gretel are all grown up. As the movie's title suggests, they now go around hunting (and killing) witches.

There aren't a lot of big name stars in this film, in fact you may not recognize most names, but you will recognize some faces. Jeremy Renner (The Bourne Legacy) stars as Hansel, his sister Gretel is played by Gemma Arterton (Clash of the Titans)...and the always sexy Famke Janssen (X-Men) plays a main mean 'ol witch Muriel.

I've heard about this flick for awhile now and I've seen some photos, and I was excited to see what they do with it. But after seeing the trailer I can't help but think of Van Helsing (which is not a good thing). I guess I'm a little confused. I'm assuming is supposed to take place a long, long time ago. But they have rifles and machine guns? Hmmm.
