This is the second full trailer for the new sequel G.I. Joe Retaliation. It reveals a wee bit more of the storyline, but not a whole lot more than the first trailer. It does, however, show us more scenes/images that we haven't seen yet...and a better look at some of the new characters.

In case you didn't know, the new movie features Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as Roadblock, and Bruce Willis as the original G.I. Joe...Joe Colton. They also show you that Channing Tatum has returned as Duke, but you only see him at the beginning of the trailer. Hmmm...interesting. What does that mean?

As you'll see from the trailer it looks like the Joe's have been wiped out, by order of our own president. And with G.I. Joe out of the way, the supervillians known as Cobra are free to rule the country and the world. But wait a minute, not all of the Joe's are dead...and they don't think the president is really the president. My guess is it's that master of disguise Zartan.

It looks as though they are kinda sorta going the route of the animated series G.I. Joe Renegades, in which the Joes are a small group of soldiers out to prove that Cobra really is evil.

This flick looks pretty decent. I'm sure I'll see it, at some point. I saw the first G.I. Joe film and thought it was just ok. My issue with both films is I want to see more characters. I was a HUGE fan of the cartoon growing up. And when they finally make a live action movie, they use just a handful of characters.
