This is the news you've been waiting for, Black Veil Brides army! That's right, the Hollywood-based outfit have wrapped up their highly-anticipated followup to 2014's self-titled album.

The band had been working in the studio with producer John Feldmann and guitarist Jake Pitts posted a photo on Instagram (seen below) declaring that Black Veil Brides are "excited to say it's officially mixed and mastered which equals DONE!!" The six-stringer continued, detailing, "When we first worked with John back in 2012 I didn't always see eye to eye with him and I was a little close minded. I'm happy to say that I have grown so much as a musician, songwriter and producer and I owe it all to him! My mind has been opened up, and I have gained so much knowledge from just being in the same room as him. I am happy to call someone I aspire to be like and who inspires me a friend. This album kicks a lot of ass and I cannot wait for you all to hear it! Thanks to everyone who who helped make this album amazing!"

Frontman Andy Biersack shared some details about the new record back in October, stating, “There’s certainly a concept to the record, but I don’t know that it is a ‘concept record.’ The songs tie together for a full story I will eventually talk about, but not right now. I don’t think I’m ready to yet. The only place it exists is in a notebook where I’ve written everything out. And I sent a text message to Feldy [producer John Feldmann] with it. [Laughs.] Until I have it definitively down, it’s not worth sharing yet.”

In a series of recent tweets, the singer also revealed that he expects the album to be released in the fall, which will coincide with a Black Veil Brides tour. For now, fans can continue listening to the new song "The Outsider," which arrived in late December.
