Black Sabbath Post Classic ‘Rock Concert’ Footage on YouTube
Black Sabbath may be working on their first album with Ozzy Osbourne since the '70s, but a fresh reminder of their heyday just turned up online. The group posted a 25-minute video of their performance on the '70s TV staple, 'Don Kirshner's Rock Concert,' for fans to check out.
The set includes such favorites as 'Snowblind,' 'War Pigs' and 'Paranoid' and the footage comes from the period where they were promoting their 'Sabotage' album. 'Hole in the Sky,' which was the album's big single, is also featured as part of the performance.
Black Sabbath are currently ramping up to a proposed June release for their '13' album. With Ward sitting out over a contract dispute, the band invited Rage Against the Machine's Brad Wilk to lay down the drums for the effort.
