Kevin Conroy reprises his role as the Caped Crusader in Batman: Assault on Arkham, an animated movie based on the Arkham Asylum games.

That's right. Comics Alliance pointed out the upcoming animated feature film, which takes place in the Arkham universe created by developer Rocksteady Studios. It will star Batman as he tries to foil the Joker's plot to set off a dirty bomb somewhere in Gotham City.

While that sounds like a pretty standard Batman fare, what makes Assault on Arkham more interesting is that he'll "team up" with Task Force X, otherwise known as the Suicide Squad, which is a ragtag team of bad guys who have been tasked with doing dirty work for the greater good.

You'll see the animated forms of Deadshot, Amanda Waller, King Shark and fan-favorite Harley Quinn as they assist Batman with saving the city from the Joker's bomb. There's no hard release date for this film, which will debut on BluRay and HD Digital Download, but it's set for a mid-2014 release. The next game in the Arkham series, Batman: Arkham Knight, will be released on Oct. 14.
