There's no denying that The Cranberries song Zombie with Dolores O'Riordan's hauntingly beautiful vocals is a classic. Last year the classic song had new life breathed into it when Bad Wolves covered it and put their own spin on the classic.

Today on the one year anniversary of Dolores O'Riordan's passing Bad Wolves lead singer Tommy Vext remembers Dolores and talks about what an honor it's been to share the classic song 'Zombie' with her.

In his heartfelt post he writes:

A year ago I got one of the worst phone calls I’ve ever received.
A year ago today we lost one of the most defining voices of a generation.
Dolores O’Riordan, it has been our distinct honor to re-share Zombie with the world in 2018. We will continue to fly your flag and carry your message in love and tribute for the bravery, inspiration and honesty you gave us through your music.
“Until we meet gain, may god hold you in the palm of his hand.”
Tommy Vext
