THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN ILLINOIS...SOUTHWEST INDIANA...WESTERN KENTUCKY AND SOUTHEAST MISSOURI.

DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE FORECAST OVER SOUTHEAST MISSOURI AND SOUTHWEST ILLINOIS AFTER MIDNIGHT. ANY STORMS THAT DEVELOP ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN BELOW SEVERE LIMITS.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS, CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WIND GUSTS, ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP AROUND NOON OVER SOUTHEAST MISSOURI, THEN QUICKLY MOVE ACROSS SOUTHERN ILLINOIS, SOUTHWEST INDIANA, AND WEST KENTUCKY BETWEEN NOON AND 7 PM CST. THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL LIKELY BE FOUND IN SHORT LINES.

A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WITHIN THE LINE MAY STRENGTHEN ENOUGH TO PRODUCE BRIEF TORNADOES.
