Autograph will release their new album, Get Off Your Ass, on Oct. 6, but you can check out the video for the title track right now. It's an exclusive premiere that you can watch above.

The album is available for pre-order now, with a vinyl edition to follow next month.Get Off Your Ass was recorded by original band members Steve Lynch and Randy Rand, along with singer Simon Daniels and drummer Marc Weiland.

Get Off Your Ass definitely definitely sets a new direction for the band, with an updated, heavier sound, while still retaining the signature melodic hooks people have come to expect from Autograph," Lynch said. "This record is bound to get the attention of old fans as well as new.”

“We wanted the record to be musically timeless, and translate a heavier sound featuring the melodies and harmonies – but with heavier guitars and a more ‘in your face’ attitude," Daniels added. "The lyrics come from the heart and are directed to people of our current era, with uplifting messages and positive energy. It’s Autograph on steroids.”

Megadeth bassist David Ellefson -- founder of EMP Records, which is releasing the album -- said signing the band was a full-circle experience. “When I first moved to L.A., Steve Lynch was the guy everybody went there to learn from," he noted. "Steve truly is an iconic guitar hero of the highest caliber, and I am so proud for EMP to be able to partner with him and the reimagined Autograph to release this killer album.”

Autograph – who returned in 2013 after splitting in 1989 – have a number of shows scheduled in the U.S. over the coming months. They're also taking part in the Monsters of Rock Cruise 2018 from Feb. 11 to Feb. 16. You can find more information at the band’s website.
