FEMA Hiring for Emergency Management Positions to Assist with Kentucky’s Deadly Tornado Recovery Efforts
The Federal Emergency Management Agency has an immediate need to fill temporary positions in Mayfield, Hopkinsville, Frankfort, and the surrounding areas to assist with Kentucky’s recovery from the Dec. 10-11 tornadoes.
Which Counties Are Eligible for FEMA Assistance in Western KY?
Residents in the designated counties can apply online at disasterassistance.gov, by calling 800-621-3362, or by using the FEMA mobile app. If you use a relay service, such as video relay (VRS), captioned telephone or other service, give FEMA the number for that service.
Renters Can Now Apply for FEMA Assistance for KY Tornadoes
Renters in Caldwell, Christian, Fulton, Graves, Hart, Hickman, Hopkins, Logan, Lyon, Marshall, Muhlenberg, Ohio, Taylor and Warren counties whose homes and property were damaged by severe storms and tornadoes Dec. 10, 2021 may apply for federal assistance.
