I'm an on-air personality on The River City Rocker, 103GBF...been that way for the past 14 years.

Aside from loving the music we play, I also thoroughly enjoy sports...Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Reds and UK.

General: Hanging out at the house. Watching the aforementioned sports....drinking beer.  Real high brow stuff.

Music: I'm pretty much across the board. I can appreciate all genres of music.  Short list of favorite groups: Green Day, Weezer, Rancid, System of a Down, A Tribe Called Quest, The Cure, Less Than Jake, Beastie Boys and N.W.A (I'm hard).

Movies: Favorites include the original Star Wars trilogy, Swingers, Old School, Office Space, Kingpin, Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgandy. Real high-brow shit.

Television: Law and Order (SVU mainly), House and sports. Anything else I might casually glance at.

Wooderson returns in new Butch Walker video for ‘Synthesizers’

If that name in the title doesn't ring a bell, it's the character that launched Matthew McConaughey's career. David Wooderson is arguably the most memorable character from the great flick 'Dazed and Confused' which came out in 1993. If you are fan of GBF, you should be familiar with the film which follows a group of seniors during their last day of high school in the 70's to the next morning. Lots of stuff happens in the coming of age flick that I won't spoil if you, for some reason, have not seen it yet.

25th Anniversary: Slick with Playboy Playmate AJ Alexander

As a part of our year long celebration of being the most badass rock station in the Tri-state for 25 years, I thought I would acknowledge an important moment in our history.  Me being on stage with a Playboy was kind of important to me at least.  This small photo collection was of a night in 2008 (April/May I think) in which I was doing something at Fast Eddys (no clue to what it was) I was joined onstage by the soon to be Miss May 2008, the lovely AJ Alexander.  The link is somewhat safe for work but don't go digging around too much.

Wikipedia Goes Dark Out of Protest

It's pretty late in the day to mention this but if you tried to access wikipedia today, you had no such luck.  They (along with other sites) are protesting the attempted legislative act named SOPA (stands for "stop online piracy act") which will greatly affect, if passed, the way we currently enjoy the interwebz.

The Lionel Richie ‘Hello’ Supercut.

Lionel Richie? Yep Lionel Richie.  I am posting this more as a nod to the guy that had the fortitude (or lack of life) to piece together random movie clips to matchup with Mr. Richie's 'Hello', a megahit for him back in 1984.

Nice work guy...putting this montage together will look good on your resume'.  Put it right below "Team Player".

Arsee of the L.A. Kings Ice Crew Photoshoot [Video]

I don't know much about hockey. I know that seeing it live is a worthwhile experience (Go Icemen!) but other than that, I couldn't tell you the rules of the sport if my life depended on it. I was also unaware that the NHL has the equivalent to cheerleaders in the form of the 'Ice Crew'. At least the L.A. Kings do...and I am thankful for that.

‘I Love The Smell Of’ Supercut [Video]

"I love the smell of napalm in the morning".

It's an all-time classic line from an iconic movie called Apocalypse Now. I reference it that way considering you may not have even been born when it came out.  However, no matter your's pop culture significance has spanned decades.

Barry Larkin Is Going Into the Hall Of Fame!

I grew up (and still am) a diehard Cincinnati Reds fan. Without question, my favorite player of all time is Eric Davis. My second just got the nod to go to Cooperstown. Barry Larkin. You can make the case that he was the best shortstop in the history of the franchise, one that is the oldest in the sport. He didn't do any one thing great...he was just really good at everything.

The BCS National Championship is Tonight

The first meeting was a defensive battle and quite frankly, boring.  With more than a month to prepare, the sequel should be a little more exciting.

#1 LSU takes on #2 Alabama tonight for that big crystal trophy thing that Oklahoma State will bitch about being partially theirs considering they finished the season undefeated.  A playoff system would just be plain silly, wouldn't it? /sarcasm off

The $10,000 Half Court Shot That Almost Wasn’t

University of Kentucky freshman Vincent Swope is a good man. I designate him as such by simply being a Kentucky fan. He had an opportunity this weekend to win $10,000 by hitting a half-court shot at halftime of the Kentucky/South Carolina game. He hit it and was informed mid-celebration that he might not be a winner after all.
