Mike Adams is a literary slop zombie; a mutt breed of surrealism and violence; a man who likes his metal heavy and his rock southern. In May of 2007, he boldly published a book of maniacal short stories entitled ‘Toilet Bowl Soup: Redneck Tales from the Armpit of America’ - selling more than 10,000 copies worldwide. However, in 2010, he released ‘Toilet Bowl Soup: The Holy Sh*t’, which sold about 100 copies - if you count close friends, relatives and other people who felt sorry for him. Mike Adams also co-stars in the films ‘Watch Out’, ‘Phone Sex’, ‘Wamego: Ultimatum’, and ‘Trust Me’. He has also contributed music to the movie “It Came from Trafalgar” starring Hank Williams III and Gunnar Hansen from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Mike Adams currently resides in Southern Indiana where he writes for a number of Townsquare Media websites, HIGH TIMES, Playboy's The Smoking Jacket, and Hustler magazine.

From the Southern Indiana Affairs Desk: The Fares Avenue Ripple Festival
Just when I thought things couldn’t get any worse, the powers that be have temporarily relocated the Southern Indiana Affairs desk to some dingy hotel room just off of Fares Avenue.

Other artists scheduled to perform this evening are Jeremy Caine, The Vintage Rendition, Hen Tooth...
Celebrate Military Appreciation Month at Buffalo Wild Wings
May is Military Appreciation Month.
What better way to take advantage of it than by consuming mass amounts of Buffalo wings in one of the Tri-States best sports bars? Honestly, we can’t think of a better way to show our support to our friends and family in the military...
Five People, Five Questions: How Do You Dress For Success?
This week the EVSC announced its plans to implement a consistent “Dress for Success” policy. This enhanced dress code policy will go into effect this fall.
From the Southern Indiana Affairs Desk: Babylon Village
I’m not sure what is going on in Southern Indiana this week, but to say that it has me nervous is an understatement. I only feel somewhat safe as I am currently tucked deep inside a make shift tornado shelter typing this thing out with one hand, while barring the door with the other.
Five People, Five Questions: What Do You Like in Evansville?
I recently asked myself and four other random people from the Evansville area a series of five questions on the subject of local food, drink, music, and politics. This is what we had to say:
If Locals Want It, They Will Get It: Ladies and Gentlemen, Ghosts of the Ohio
This Saturday night is the Evansville Junior League’s Rockin River City Ride Battle of the Bands. There has been a lot of talk this week about “the battle” on social media sites, and it even appears to be somewhat controversial in light of certain reviews.
