Quentin Tarantino’s Next Film Gets an Official Title, Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio to Star
After months of speculation and reports on casting possibilities (and likelihoods, to be honest), Quentin Tarantino’s next film — his ninth, and his first without the Weinstein Co. — has an official title and a pair of stars. Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio have signed on to headline the project, which is titled Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

Netflix’s full March lineup includes new seasons of ‘Jessica Jones’ and ‘Love,’ along with classic films like ‘Ghostbusters’ and ‘Casino.’
Arnold Schwarzenegger Has Also Joined That ‘Kung Fury’ Movie
Arnold Schwarzenegger is the President of the United States of America…in a movie, at least. The action icon and former Governator of California has joined the cast of Kung Fury, the upcoming feature film based on David Sandberg’s 2015 short film of the same name. Schwarzenegger is the latest name to join the full-length version of the cult favorite, which is set in the ’80s and pays homage to the martial arts and cop flicks of the era.
Michael Bay Might Direct DC’s ‘Lobo’ Movie…Wait, What?
Depending on how you feel about Michael Bay and / or the DC Comics character Lobo, the idea of the former directing a movie about the latter is kind of perfect — either because they’re both awful, or because Lobo, a giant blue-skinned alien bounty hunter ripped from the cover of an Iron Maiden album, is right in Bay’s explosive, in-your-face wheelhouse. Regardless of your personal feelings on the matter, Michael Bay might be directing his very first superhero movie, and of course it’s for DC Films.

You didn’t really think Marvel would sit out the Super Bowl, did you?
First Look at Brie Larson in ‘Captain Marvel’ Costume!
Just yesterday, Brie Larson shared a photo of her prepping for the title role in Captain Marvel. With the caption “Learning how to fly,” the pic showed Larson in full Air Force parachute gear, giving fans a little sneak peek at the civilian side of Carol Danvers. Although filming on her solo movie isn’t set to begin until early February, we didn’t have to wait long — like, at all — for our first look at Larson in full costume as Marvel’s first lady.
Brie Larson Learns How to Fly in ‘Captain Marvel’ Training Photo
Just yesterday some set photos landed online that maybe-possibly gave us our first look at something being filmed for Captain Marvel — most likely a post-credits tease attached to one of the upcoming Avengers sequels. As production gears up for a February start, today brings another cool photo from the highly-anticipated Marvel film, this time featuring Brie Larson herself.
Mysterious Marvel Set Photos Tease Nick Fury and Maria Hill’s Return
It’s been a long while since we’ve seen our old S.H.I.E.L.D. pals Nick Fury and Maria Hill. The characters, played by Samuel L. Jackson and Cobie Smulders (respectively, of course), haven’t appeared in the MCU since 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron. That’s not too far back in mere mortal years, but Marvel has released six movies since then, so it feels a lot longer. Thankfully, they’ll both be back in action shortly, as evidenced by some interesting new set photos.
New Details on Leonardo DiCaprio’s Role in Quentin Tarantino’s Ninth Film
We know who Leonardo DiCaprio is playing in Quentin Tarantino’s mysterious new film.
The Flash Enlists ‘Vacation’ Directing Duo for ‘Flashpoint’ Solo Film
Listen, “From (two of) the writers of Spider-Man: Homecoming…” definitely sounds more attractive than “From the directors of the Vacation reboot,” but you’ll have to just split the difference with John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein — and hey, they have a 50-50 (or 25-75?) shot of making a great Flashpoint movie for DC Films…which is a long-winded way of reporting that Daley and Goldstein are in talks to helm Ezra Miller’s big solo project for Warner Bros.
‘Deadpool 2’ Will Now Duke It Out With ‘Infinity War’ and ‘Solo’ in May
Following today’s report on Gore Verbinski’s exit from Channing Tatum’s Gambit movie, Fox is making some big moves — the most major of which is, unsurprisingly, with Deadpool 2. The studio has moved the sequel to 2016’s R-rated anti-superhero hit up to May, almost a whole month earlier than its June 1 release date.
‘Black Panther’ Had the Biggest One-Day Advanced Ticket Sales in MCU History
Black Panther doesn’t hit theaters until next month, but Marvel’s latest installment has already begun making history. In addition to being the studio’s first superhero film with a black lead and featuring a majority black cast and being the first Marvel movie to boast a soundtrack with multiple original songs (courtesy of Kendrick Lamar), the Ryan Coogler-directed film can add another milestone to its collection: Black Panther has sold more advance tickets in one day than any other movie in the MCU.
