The big game...the game whose name we shall not say...is coming up soon. And although billions of people will watch it, we are not allowed to say its name. So to poke fun at that ridiculous rule, we are doing a "Soup or Bowl" Grab Bag Weekend.
I headed to the east side for lunch today, which is a rare thing for me. Since our office is downtown, I usually head north or west for food...and it has been weeks or months since I've driven that way. And boy was I shocked to see what was left of Roberts Stadium.
We're still not quite through the winter weather season. In fact, there is a slight chance that we'll get a bit of the white stuff before the week is done. Luckily it'll be nothing like what we had a month ago, or like the weather in the video.
The term "GIF" (pronounced with a 'J' sound) is an acronym for "Graphics Interchange Format"...whatever the hell that means. To you and me a GIF is usually a whacky little image or video clip that is a continuous loop...usually with no sound. But what if there were sound? Would it be funny? Yep!

I was almost ready to stop watching this trailer about 20 seconds in. Why? Well, it just looked strange right off the bat...then I see that the director is some dude named Jonas Åkerlund, with a funky symbol over the 'A'...and then I see something about the SXSW Film Festival. But, alas, I decided to ride it out, and I'm glad I did.
It's hard to believe that if you listen at all to 103GBF that you haven't heard us talking about this contest. We've been beating to death! Why? Cause it's a wicked awesome prize...a once in a lifetime opportunity.
