Stream New, Live Soundgarden Album Now
In case you may have missed it, perennial GBF favorites Soundgarden released a brand-spankin' new live album on Tuesday. Usually I'm not a fan of live albums as they tend to lack the character that going to live show delivers. Well, the album, "Live on I-5" is an exception for me. "Live on I-5" features a lot of great Soundgarden classics like 'Spoonman,' 'Outshined,' and a very different take on 'Black Hole Sun.' One thing to note, though, even though this album was released on Tuesday, the recordings are from 1996.

The Crazy Blake Griffin Dunk That Didn’t Count and Others That Did [VIDEOS]
Phoenix Suns' head coach Alvin Gentry labeled the dunk Los Angeles Clippers' rookie Blake Griffin threw down over Suns' center Marcin Gortat on Sunday as "impressive of a dunk as I have seen in the NBA in 23 years."
Unfortunately for Griffin, the dunk didn't count, since he was called for a charge.

Super Mario Brothers Get the Indie Film Treatment in ‘Mario’ [VIDEO]
A live-action re-imagination of Nintendo 8-bit hero Super Mario as an angsty, mushroom-eating, down-on-his-luck plumber was a big hit this week at the South by Southwest film festival in Austin, Texas.
"Mario" is a trailer-length short which filmmaker Joe Nicolosi doesn't intend to turn into a feature film. You can check out all two minutes of the project below.

Casey Abrams Brings Nirvana To American Idol [VIDEO]
For the first time ever, a contestant on American Idol sang a song from '90s grunge-gods Nirvana. Casey Abrams, who missed a show last week when he was hospitalized for a bowel condition, kept the drama going on Wednesday night's telecast with his out-of-left-field selection of "Smell's Like Teen Spirit."
The reactions from judges Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson to Abrams' performance were very positive. Jennifer Lopez was a bit less enthusiastic, although she stated she still "loved" Abrams.

Thieves Caught With 700,000 Condoms
Police in Malaysia have busted up a ring of condom thieves, recovering roughly 700,000 pilfered rubbers.
Six men -- including some who work for a company that exports condoms -- were arrested after hundreds of boxes of prophylactics were found stashed in a
