Ubisoft's free-to-play mobile game, Assassin's Creed Memories, brought its card battles over to the iOS format without a single Templar noticing.

According to Polygon, Assassin's Creed Memories has just launched for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch on the App Store. Memories takes you through imperialist Mongolia, Colonial America, the Italian Renaissance and feudal Japan in this free-to-play card game. Why couldn't they take us to feudal Japan with ninjas in a current-gen title? Nevertheless, it's nice to have a new Assassin's Creed game to play, even if there's no parkour movement in it.

Memories revolves around going to different eras and collecting cards, doing missions and hunting targets. You use ally, weapon and armor cards to determine combat. Multiplayer involves 20 vs. 20 player guild battles, though we're sure there's bound to be plenty of players who will take their sweet time each round. During these massive online battles, you must chain combos with your teams. We can't wait to get our hands on this mobile hidden blade.

A killer this portable could easily find a place to get ride of a body.
