Stretch those legs and get ready for a nice evening run on the USI campus.

The annual Night Flight Road Run to benefit the USI running program takes place this Saturday (July 28th). The event is open to all ages and features a half-mile run for kids beginning at 7:45pm, a one mile run beginning at 8pm, and a four mile run beginning at 8:30pm. Participants can also choose to run both the one mile and four mile race as a combined five mile.

Early registration can be done online and is $15 in advance for the half-mile, $20 in advance for the four mile and one mile race, and $25 in advance for the combined four mile and one mile race. Registration will also take place the day of the race from 6:15-8:15pm at an increased price of $5 per race.

Everyone who participates receives a t-shirt, with all seven-and-under participants receiving a ribbon. seven-and-under half-mile awards given out directly following their race.

Running merchandise will be on sale during the run and for the die hard runners looking to improve their running time, ChronoTrack chip timing will be in use. The on campus pool will be open from 8:15-10pm so runners can cool off and enjoy a evening swim after the run and shower facilities will also be available for use inside the PAC Arena
