Evanescence vocalist Amy Lee recently issued her first children's album, Dream Too Much, via Amazon Prime Music and with the release comes a new song and video, "If You're a Star."

The song is a touching one, as Lee's dreamy vocals soar over piano and string parts. Meanwhile, the vocalist sings in wonderment about the life of a star. As for the video, it's a mix of origami and paper art creations exploring the "star's" universe. Check out the video in full above.

"If You're a Star" appears on Lee's Dream Too Much album, which just arrived via Amazon Prime Music this past Friday (Sept. 30). The disc is a mix of well known children's song staples and Amy Lee originals and can be purchased at this location.

Lee worked on the album with members of her family. "This album is very personal to me," said the singer. "My husband and I had our first baby in 2014 and he has been the center of the inspiration for this children's album. Every song on this album has a story -- whether it's an original for our son based on his favorite things or a song my dad used to sing to me when I was a little girl. I can't begin to tell you how fulfilling this project has been and how proud I am to unveil it to listeners on Prime Music."

As for Evanescence, while there has been no word on a new studio album, the band will return to the road for dates in late October and November. See their scheduled stops here.
