In space, no one can hear you scream, but everyone will hear that damn alarm go off in Alien: Isolation.

This latest trailer for Alien: Isolation has Amanda Ripley throwing a makeshift noisemaker to distract the Xenomorph so she can run away. This is the same noisemaker we've seen in previous videos that was intended to be a bomb thrown in the alien's face. Of course, the apex predator simply disregarded it and pounced on its would-be attacker. In this video, the noisemaker successfully works.

The alien menacingly walks in the direction of the device and Amanda runs down a hallway while its back is turned. We must note that it really wouldn't make sense for an animal to walk so slow towards a loud noise it heard with such massive footsteps -- the alien is supposed to be about stealth and stalking its prey. On the way out, Amanda accidentally trips a security alarm that results in the alien homing in on her location, killing her in the process.

Alien: Isolation will hatch on Oct. 7 for the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Better add this video to the list.
