Air Jordan 5 Take Flight Sneaker Gets a Release Date

After unveiling its annual BHM collection yesterday, Jordan Brand is back with some more good news for sneakerheads. Announcing there release date and pricing of the anticipated Air Jordan 5 Take Flight, the Jumpman gears up to release one its best and most appealing colorways of the classic basketball sneaker.

As part of Jordan Brand’s 2017 spring lineup, the upcoming Air Jordan 5 Take Flight will feature a premium upper canvas with in an olive colorway. Unlike previous Air Jordan 5 models, this AJ5 will feature a laser perforated ventilation system, replacing the signature cage unit displayed on the side panel. One of the highlights of this Jordan sneaker will be the vachetta tan accents on the tongue of the shoes. A new addition to the classic basketball sneaker is the leather midsole, that goes around the entire shoe, and that sits atop of a icy blue translucent bottom.

The highly anticipated Air Jordan 5 Take Flight is set to release on Saturday, Feb. 11, at select Jordan Brand retailers and accounts. The shoes are set to retail for a suggested price of $400, and are available only while supply lasts.
