Actors That Have Played Multiple Comic Book Characters

Josh Brolin was just announced as Cable for Deadpool 2, but many people asked: Can he do that? He’s also playing Thanos, another Marvel character, in Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers: Infinity War. But what people don’t realize is that many actors have done double duty (haha, duty…) as more than one comic book character.

Josh Brolin has actually played comic book characters before…

Jonah Hex –Jonah Hex
Young Agent K –Men in Black 3
Dwight McCarthy –Sin City: A Dame to Kill For
Thanos –Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Avengers: Infinity War
and now
Nathan Summers/Cable –Deadpool 2

MY POINT IS I don’t know what the big deal is about playing more than one comic book character. Plenty of other actors have done it before.
