AC/DC made their mark in the wine industry back in 2011 when they teamed up with Warburn Estate and launched their own brand of wines ranging from You Shook Me All Night Long Moscato to Highway to Hell Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine line was a huge success for the band, selling over six thousand cases the first week it was released.

In response to their fermented success, AC/DC are kicking things up a notch with their special limited edition wine dubbed 'AC/DC Platinum.' The one-off wine is showcased in a slick gift box and a bottle made of Saver Glass from France with a pewter neck band, making it a true collectible. It is a super-premium 2010 Barossa Valley Shiraz, matured for two years in American oak barrels.

AC/DC worked again with Warburn Estate on the development and launch of the limited-edition libation and according to executive director of sales and marketing Francis Fusca, it was a true “labor of love.”

Fusca talked to The Shout about the special release, explaining, “AC/DC Platinum is definitely at the forefront of wine packaging in this country. The hardest part is for the fans who will miss out – this product could be considered one of the rarest memorabilia seen out of the AC/DC stable.”

AC/DC Platinum will be available for pre-order through Warburn Estate and is expected out in September, but get your orders in fast. This one will sell out quickly!
