You would think that with all the strength and perseverance needed to hunt the undead, Abe Lincoln, with a little more notice, could have grabbed John Wilkes Booth and ripped his widpipe out or something. History is history though and visionary filmmakers Tim Burton and Timur Bekmambetov take some liberties with it as they reinvent the time-honored genre and present the terrifying creatures of the night as they were meant to be experienced as fierce, visceral, intense and bloodthirsty.
