Art can be a perfect canvas to work out your aggressions, but what happens when those aggressions begin fighting back? We get a look at how that plays out in A Day to Remember's latest video for "Bullfight."

The clip opens with an artist scrawling and painting increasingly dark and violent portraits on several canvases, but midway through the video some of the action on the canvas carries over the real life, as the artist takes a few bullets from one of his creations. Little by little, the tormented artist continues to battle with his demons, egged on on occasion by A Day to Remember vocalist Jeremy McKinnon. The clip ends with a quote from Lao Tzu, the founder of Taoism, who stated, "If you do not change direction, you may end up where you are heading." The quote appears on screen as a portrait of a man being pummeled by a hammer to the head appears in the background.

The striking clip was directed by acclaimed video director Darren Doane, while Rob Prior generated the artwork used within the clip. As for the band, they appear in the video, often performing in darkly lit solitude, but the crux of the action really centers on the artist and his anguish as he pushes to meet his vision.

"Bullfight" is featured on A Day to Remember's Bad Vibrations album and follows on the heels of the singles "Paranoia" and the title track. The album is due to drop on Sept. 2. You can pre-order the disc via Amazon and iTunes and look for A Day to Remember playing shows at these locations.
