This week, be sure and check out the 94th annual Vanderburgh County Fair. It is fun for the whole family with rides, contests, and tractor pulls. While you are there, you can indulge on their many delicious treats including pork and dairy products raised by farmers and event participants locally. The event is not only fun, though, it is also a sign of your support of the youth of our community. While at the fair, you can view the 4H projects that showcase their many talents from animal raising to arts and crafts.

Admission to the 94th annual Vanderburgh County Fair includes: Single Admission: $7.00; Season Pass: $25.00; and Children 9 and under are free. Fair Ride Tickets cost: Ride Armbands – $18.00; Ten Ride Tickets – $17.00; or Individual Ride Ticket – $2.00. For your safety at the event, the following items are prohibited: firearms, alcoholic beverages, and animals (except service animals or those entered in competitions).

Wednesday night, you can enjoy the It’s a Fair Walk/4-H Parade that begins and ends at the Auditorium (6:30pm); Little Miss & Mister Contest taking place at Lakeside N. (7pm), Dairy Showmanship Contest taking place at the Livestock Show Barn (7pm), and the Tyler Farr Concert at the Grandstand (8:30pm).

Thursday night’s entertainment includes the Garden Tractor Pull at the Grandstand (6pm), the Vanderburgh County Fair Farmers Pull: Hot Farm, Pick-up Truck, & Semi also at the Grandstand (6pm), the Llama/Alpaca Fun Night at the Industrial Building (6-8pm), and the Tiny Tots Contest at Auditorium (7pm).

On Friday, plan to attend the Antique Machinery Parade at Grandstand (5pm), Frog Jumping Contest at the Livestock Show Barn (6pm), Talent Contest Vocal & Instrumental at the Auditorium (7pm), Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League Professional Tractor Pull at the Grandstand (at 7pm), and the Little Farmers Pet Parade at Lakeside N. (7:30pm).

On the final day of the event, be sure and check out: Family Fun Walk at the Survive Alive House (9am), 4-H Horse & Pony Club Costume Classes & Free Fun Show at the Lower Horse Arena (10am), Bear Hollow Wood Carving Exhibition at the Grandstand S. (12 noon – 9pm), 4-H Parade of Champions at Lakeside N. (6pm), Demolition Derby at the Grandstand (7pm), Lakeside Magic Show at Lakeside N. (7pm), and the Phillip Fox Band at Lakeside N. (8pm)
