I am so personally inspired and touched and moved by the stories I've heard and the patients and families I've met at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital over the years. And I am so personally grateful and thankful for everyone that helped make our annual St. Jude Radiothon a HUGE success earlier this year. You now have another chance to help St. Jude...and it's all because of one amazing Tri-State family.

The 2nd Annual St. Jude Give Hope Run is happening tomorrow (Saturday) at Burdette Park, and is organized by the Witsoe family, who lost their son Sean to cancer back in 2010...just two days after his fifth birthday. Last year’s event outdid everyone's expectations and raised $75,000 and was the top participated Give Hope. Run. event in the country! This year's goal is $100,000...and they are so close to hitting it. You could help put them over the top. It's not too late for you to do your part and sign up today at givehoperun.org.

Just know that 100% of the funds are donated to St. Jude. And also know that this is not just a Memphis, TN issue. There are a frighteningly large number of St. Jude patients from the Tri-State area. In fact, over 65 children from the Tri-State have been treated at St. Jude recently. And, as always, none of them, or any St. Jude family, have ever received a bill.
