2nd Annual Evansville Wizards Yule Ball Jan. 27th

Get your wands ready, Potterheads! This party is for you!

The 2nd Annual Wizards Yule Ball, sponsored by 103GBF and hosted by the Nerd Empowerment Society, will be at the Soldiers and Sailors Coliseum on Saturday Jan. 27th starting at 9pm.

Dust off an old prom dress, buy a new one, or dress up as your favorite character from Harry Potter! We don't care! We're all nerds here!

*THIS IS AN 18+ EVENT. (Sorry children, this one is for the big kids)

That being said, there will be alcohol, so bring your ID if you want some! There will also be themed drinks and Flying Cauldron Butterscotch Beer!

There will also be a DJ to set the magical mood, a Sorting hat, giant banners, House emblems, magical trinkets and baubles, Yuletide decorations, green screen photography by Cosplay Imaging ($5 a print) and more!

And remember when I said you could dress up as your favorite Harry Potter character? There will be a Formal Wizard Cosplay Contest. The 1st prize winner will receive a cash prize and free entry for the winner and a guest to next year's Yule Ball!

AND (Yeah, there's more) starting next week (Jan. 22nd), Chynna will be giving away tickets to the Yule Ball on-air all week! So listen from 2-7p for your chance to score a pair of Yule Ball tickets from the coolest Hufflepuff you know.

You can also buy your tickets now, and get sorted into your house (if you haven't done so already). It's not a requirement to get sorted before you go to the Yule Ball, but it is fun. Also, a LOT of people are going to ask you what house your in. So you might as well know the answer...
