Police in Orlando Florida continue to search for a 2 year old boy after he was attacked and drugged into a lake by an alligator.

A family of 5 from Nebraska were vacationing at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa when their 2 year old son was attacked by an alligator and drugged into the water.

According to Orange County Sheriff Jerry Deming, the father tried to rescue the boy but could not fight off the alligator.

Currently more then 50 law enforcement personnel are searching for the boy.

The attacked happened in the Seven Seas Lagoon area of the resort where "No Swimming" signs were posted.

The sheriff also said the area has no record of alligator attacks.
