103GBF High School ‘Gridiron Stud of the Week’ (Sectional Finals)
It's the all important Sectional time. Vote for your favorite player now until 3 p.m. Friday, when we'll announce the winner in voting.
It starts up all over again next Monday. If you vote too often the poll mechanism will set up a 'cool down' mode for you, keeping you from voting for an hour.
Here are the Studs from last Friday:
- Carter Schnarr of Reitz plunged in for two 1-yard scores and one 2-yarder to lift the Panthers to a 28-0 halftime lead. Early in the fourth quarter,Schnarr made a run outside and raced to the end zone for a 27-yard score. Reitz Walked away with a 52-7 win at Harrison in the Class 4A Sectional 24
- Dayne Keller of Castle threw for 279 yards and three scores as Castle beat Floyd Central 42-28
- Skip Patterson of Henderson County completed 5-of-8 pass attempts for 77 yards in a losing effort against Manual 53-18 win in the first round of the 6-A
- Michael Lindauer of Memorial ran for a 667 yard touchdown early, to set the tone for The Tigers blowout of Sullivan 63-35
- Chase Rheinlander of Mater Dei rushed for 233 yards on just 11 carries – almost half of which (five) resulted in touchdowns, as the Wildcats blew out South Spencer
